Is it your turn to host a Halloween party this year? Don’t worry. We have the perfect advice so you don’t have to stress about whipping your house into party shape.

1. Start a few days before the party and check a couple of tasks off your list, daily.
2. Take a look at your house from the curb. We don’t do this often enough! Get rid of any spider webs, dirt on the walls and give your landscaping a quick once over.
3. Next, put up decorations to get into the spirit. Involve the whole family!
4. Deep clean the guest bathroom and kitchen. Your guests will appreciate a sparkling bathroom to use and a scrubbed kitchen to prepare the party foods in. Be sure to supply the bathroom with plenty of toilet paper and enough hand soap.
5. Keep the party area free of clutter. Move breakable items to a save area of the house and put away furniture, books, toys, decorations, etc. which won’t be needed that night.
6. Clean the windows and window sills of the party area. It will make the room look so much better while it is still light out.
7. An hour before your guests arrive, do a quick cleaning of floors and fix the pillows on your couch
