Are you a busy parent who always feels one step behind the power curve when it comes to keeping up with your to do list at home? If so, this post is a “must read” for you.
Here is a little survival guide for the overwhelmed parent, who is trying to keep up.
1. Make the investment and purchase a cordless vacuum. They are great for the in-between pick up and great to vacuum your stairs in only minutes. I promise you will never step on a cheerio again!
2. Purchase disinfectant wipes. If your kids tend to touch everything and anything with their sticky hands- this is a quick and easy way to get rid of the grime on your furniture.
3. You have to keep Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on hand. They don’t only work, they work quickly and on almost any surface. It’s literally the tool for almost any stain on flat surfaces.
4. Purchase “Sprayaway” glass cleaner. This product is the best glass cleaning product we have used. A no drip or streak kind of product. It simply works!
5. Get a huge pack of microfiber cloths. They are re-usable, can be used for dusting, wiping and scrubbing all surfaces. You will love them!
One last bit of advice. The best way to get ahead of the power curve is by doing a little bit each day. Pick special areas of focus, each day you are working on your household chores. Today, you might want to spend a few extra minutes on the kitchen and tomorrow you can spend some extra time on the living room… you get the idea! This way each room or your home get a little extra TLC and your house will be nice and clean before you know it.
Happy cleaning
